Dandelion Readers, 4-in-a-Row Games Vowel Spellings: for Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4

This series of 4-in-o-Row games are on excellent way of helping children learn to recognise and read the spellings of the sounds in the English language as well as some common Latin suffixes.

These games correspond to the Dandelion Readers Levels 1,2,3 and 4 Books, but con also be used with any programme the school may be following.

The first Levels 1,2 and 3 introduce 74 different vowel sounds and their spellings:

• Level 1 provides practice for 1 spelling of o vowel sound.
• Level 2 provides practice for 2 or 3 spellings of o vowel sound.
• Level 3 provides practice for 4 or 5 spellings of o vowel sound or some spelling, different sounds (e.g the spelling in the words 'cow' ond 'crow').

The 4-in-o-Row games may be photocopied onto coloured cord and laminated to prolong their life. The games are for two players.
